Founded in 1961, Sinn Spezialuhren is one of the younger companies in the luxury watch world. The company, founded by flight instructor and pilot Helmut Sinn, is definitely not unknown. In keeping with the founder, initially only on-board clocks were produced for aircraft, including for the Bundeswehr. Sinn also sold its first wristwatches exclusively for pilots and flight instructors through direct sales. From Eurofighters to Boeing passenger planes, they all had Sinn on-board clocks installed from the 1970s onwards. In keeping with the name "Special Watches", Sinn has focused more on the development of new technologies than simply building trendy watches. Including temperature resistance technology, anti-reflective glass for divers, magnetic field protection and much more.

Meaning models at a glance

Built between the 90s and early 2000s, the 8826 is both a tool watch and a dress watch in one. The model came with both a glass base, which made it look a little more elegant, and with a classic screw-on titanium base. We installed the reliable ETA 2892, which was even chronometer certified at the time. As a 3-hander with date complication and sapphire crystal, the 8826 really comes with everything you need for a daily companion.
