About Omega

Founded in 1848 as Louis Brandt, Omega is one of the best-known and most respected luxury watch brands of our time. The first watch developed with the name Omega was a pocket watch in 1894, where the term referred to the movement. The name Omega is based on the last letter in the Greek alphabet and refers to "perfection", an allusion to Omega's exceptionally high quality. Today's main recognition feature at Omega is probably space travel with the Moonwatch, the first watch on the moon. But other models such as the Seamaster, Constellation or De Ville are also indispensable today.

The Seamasters

A very special model for Omega: To celebrate the company's 100th anniversary, Omega presents the Seamaster 1948. As the name suggests, it was built for the sea, as can be seen from the high water resistance of the individual models. The first one came in 1957 Seamaster 300 on the market, which accounted for a water resistance of over 20 bar. This is particularly true among James Bond fans Seamaster popular, who made her first appearance in "Golden Eye" in 1995. The popular Aqua Terra model, the slightly more elegant version, came onto the market in 2002 and is still one of the most popular Omega models on the market today.

Omega 8900

The 8900 in-house caliber has been the successor to the 8500 since 2015. With a power reserve of 60 hours, the in-house movement comes with a date complication at 6 o'clock and as a 3 hand. We installed a Co Axial movement with 25,200 half swing arms.

I'm Dennis from Dennis and Watches...

... and I didn't start out as an experienced dealer, but as a watch collector myself. And that is also the idea of Dennis and Watches: order more than just a watch. We want to make ourselves or someone else happy with a luxury watch and that cannot be determined by the price alone. Dennis and Watches is like a friend who wants to make buying your new watch an experience. Both during good conversations in our showroom in Düsseldorf and during unboxing at home.
